1. A bottle of Loisa Organic Sazón, a full-flavored seasoning made with oregano, cumin, garlic, coriander, achiote, and a touch of sea salt for a rich flavor you can use on almost anything. Sazón is a household staple in nearly every Latinx home I know, it makes everything delicious, and this version of it is not only SO flavorful but it uses no MSG, no preservatives, no artificial stuff, and its vegan! Plus, it's a Latinx-owned brand!
2. A bottle of sweet and slightly spicy Mike's Hot Honey that is life-changing on top of pepperoni pizza or fried chicken! So. Good. If you haven't had it, I promise you it's worth the adventure.
3. A bottle of the yummiest Secret Aardvark Habanero Sauce, because we all know that one person who just loves hot sauce a little too much — it's you, you're that one person.
4. A pack of Truff Pasta Sauce — yes, Truff makes pasta sauce and it's even better than you think. My personal favorite is the Arrabbiata sauce which is a little on the spicy side but I also wouldn't kick the Pomodoro out of bed. If you love truffle flavor and eating mounds of pasta then this sauce is worth the splurge!
5. A jar of Matiz Sofrito that's made from a family recipe that includes tomatoes slow roasted in olive oil for over three hours. Sofrito is most traditionally used in the Spanish dish paella but it's incredible as a sauce for meats, fish, eggs, and pasta.
6. A big ol' jar of El Mexicano Carne Asada Seasoning — if you ever wondered why carne asada was SO much better at your local Mexican restaurant than whatever you were trying to concoct at home, it's because of this! Just sprinkle this beef seasoning on both sides of a skirt or thin-sliced steak, then marinate it in a mixture of beer, sliced onions, cilantro, and lime juice. After you grill it, enjoy with your favorite tortillas — you're welcome.
7. A fantastic Gourmet Fries Seasonings Salt and Vinegar — if you love salt and vinegar chips (🙋) then behold this little miracle! It's basically the same flavor from our favorite chips except now it can go on fries, popcorn, whatever you want!
8. A bottle of Trader Joe's Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend that yes, you could pick up at your local store but not everyone has a TJ's next to them and, I would argue, that even fewer people want to deal with the chaos inside of one. It's made with all the flavors you love from your favorite morning carb without the bulk of all that bread — it's REALLY great on avocado, in a yogurt sauce, or just sprinkled on some buttered toast.
9. A smoky Cooking with my Doctor Adobo seasoning made using moringa and turmeric which the makers added to help with digestion and boost your metabolism. It also has a blend of paprika, pepper, onion, garlic, cumin, and annatto so it'll leave your food tasting SO delicious.
10. A bottle of Bachan's The Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce, a family recipe that uses a blend of soy sauce, cane sugar, mirin, tomato, green onion, sea salt, organic rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and toasted sesame oil.
11. A bottle of Mantova Organic Chili Flavored Extra Virgin Olive you can use for so many delicious things. Cook with it, dip bread into it, drizzle it on hummus — it'll add just the perfect amount of kick. And if spicy isn't your jam there is a great variety of flavors (like lemon and garlic).
