    1. A jar of creamy Cetaphil Pro's Dermacontrol Purifying Clay Mask made with bentonite clay and designed to help those of us with big pores and sensitive skin.

    Amazon

This mask has changed my life. Which I know sounds so dramatic but it's true and it's why I put it at number one. It has a very creamy and cooling consistency which I apply with a face mask brush (but it comes with a small applicator), I let it sit for about 20 minutes and then remove with a face sponge soaked in warm water. The difference in my skin — my sensitive, acne-prone skin — is astonishing after just one use. My pores shrunk down so much! I went from having what looked like a strawberry for a nose to just a regular, smooth nose! I haven't shut up about it since I started using it. Now I apply it every three days, it's honestly my new religion. I wish it came in a bigger jar so I could cover my entire body in it. I'm not even joking. I love it so hard. I will never stop using this mask. NEVER.

Promising review: "This product goes on nicely with the little application paddle that comes included. Kept it on for about 10 minutes and washed off with warm water. I was very impressed with how smooth my face felt afterward. My pores seemed to be much smaller and I was really impressed with the results. Great product!" —Dazza

Get it from Amazon for $13.97.

    2. A bottle of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Leave-On Solution Pore-Refining Toner, a daily toner with a mission to mattify and reduce the appearance of pores — it's formulated with kaolin clay to absorb excess oil and control shine, it's also infused with silk, coconut water, and rice protein so your skin feels totally refreshed.

    Sephora

Promising review: "I am SMITTEN with this toner! My pores are the single thing about my face that really bug me. I don’t mind my fine lines, and I’ve made peace with my dark circles — but enlarged pores across my nose and cheeks absolutely make me insane when I look in the mirror. So far, I haven’t really had a lot of luck making them disappear, and I follow a fairly strict skincare routine. I generally really love IT Cosmetics, almost anything I’ve tried from this brand has lived up to my expectations, but this toner knocks it out of the park. I’ve been using it about a week now, and can absolutely say that my pores are shrinking! Immediately upon use, I felt a slight cooling and soothing sensation. My skin was definitely more matte and smooth looking, but shockingly not too tight or dry feeling! Hoping for best results, I’ve used it every morning and night and I already feel so much more confident about my skin! The toner has a bit of an earthy smell (I believe it has clay in it, so think of a scent along that line) and you have to shake it really well at each use. Neither of those things is even remotely frustrating enough to make me ever, ever give up this magic bottle! I don’t know that my pores will ever be truly unnoticeable, but this has made me feel the best I’ve ever felt about them!" —nikkimdarling

Get it from Sephora for $34.

    3. A bottle of TruSkin Vitamin C Serum filled with a blend of botanical hyaluronic acid and vitamin E to help with brightness, firmness, fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots, sunspots, and give you smaller pores.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "Love this stuff. I have big pores and they are more noticeable when I wear foundation. I used this serum all up before I decided to give my two cents on it. My pores are visibly smaller. A little goes a long way. So the 1 oz. lasted me a month in a half. Just received my second bottle of 2 oz. I would buy a bigger bottle if they sold one." —Wanda

Get it from Amazon for $19.99.

    4. A tube of Maybelline New York's Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser, a pore blurring makeup primer you apply under your foundation to leave your skin looking matte and poreless.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "This stuff is pretty incredible. I have huuuuge pores that have always bothered me. I’ve tried lots of expensive pore smoothing primers but none of them really make much of a difference, it seems like they don’t hold up underneath my makeup. I use this primer first thing in the morning, right after I wash my face. I put a thin coat just on my problem areas and make sure to work it into my skin, then let it dry for a few minutes and apply one more 'skim coat' just on the surface of my T-zone. I let that dry another minute and apply my makeup as usual. The difference is incredible and it lasts all day. My pores are virtually invisible. Even with other pore primers and caking on foundation I was never able to achieve that. It also helps with shine, though I still have to touch up/blot a couple times throughout the day, it’s not nearly as much as before." —A. Fawcett

Get it from Amazon for $5.98.

    5. A jar of Aztec Secret deep pore cleansing mask that uses calcium bentonite clay to get deep into pores and remove any impurities.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "I’ve struggled with large pores on my nose and cheeks forever. I got this because of the number of good reviews, and you can def see a difference in the photos! Anyone with super sensitive skin should use sparingly. I use it about every other day just on my nose and cheeks. To take off, I advise letting a very warm/hot washcloth to sit on the area and then the clay slides right off. Such a great price too...and the jar will last you FOREVER!" —Kaiti

Get it from Amazon for $9.99 (available in two sizes).

    6. A bottle of Bragg Organic Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar to use with Aztec Secret — with their powers combined they will help hrink every pore on your face!

    Amazon

Promising review: "I use this to mix with my Aztec Secret clay mask twice a week! I used to use the mask without this but once I applied the mask with this vinegar the results were WAY different! My acne scars immediately looked lighter, skin brighter and tighter, smile marks faded. It's seriously a miracle ingredient for any homemade mask. This one ingredient made a world of difference!" —Nina

Get it from Amazon for $7.70.

    7. A compact of It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Finishing Powder for touching up and covering up the sight of pores.

    Amazon

Promising review: "This is an incredible pressed powder. It really does make the pores vanish. This is my last step of makeup application, and when I'm done dusting this product on, the finish looks like velvet. It really sets the under-eye area nicely too. No caking either. I recommend it highly." —TurtleGirl

I'm currently in the process of overhauling my skincare routine and trying ALL the samples, and this is the first product I've found that I don't think I can live without. I tried one sample and immediately bought the full size. I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and enlarged pores on my cheeks, and I love how I can actually SEE this mask working and pulling all the junk out of my pores. I wouldn't say it clears everything up instantly and I still have some blackheads on my nose, but I can definitely tell that my skin feels smoother after using this mask." —LolaGraceH

Get it from Nordstrom for $25+ (available in two sizes).

    9. A bottle of Tatcha Pore Perfecting Sunscreen, a weightless sunscreen with SPF 35 that gives an invisible matte coverage for some seriously poreless-looking skin.

The packaging is beautiful — love the color and it really stands out on my vanity. The sleek blue tube is great for travel. It truly is pore-minimizing and I use it alone or under makeup and it's fine for both. There isn't an aggravating scent, and the quality of the product (and really all of Tatcha's products) have always exceeded my expectations. After the first use, my skin looked red, blotchy, and super oily. it felt like oil was literally coming out of my pores. I was set to return it but then decided to try using it for a full week. Boy am I glad I did! This stuff is amaaaazing, not only at cleaning out blackheads and oily skin but at leaving you with a gorgeous smooth complexion, that natural rosy glow that comes from truly well balanced healthy skin. The first few days it was basically de-toxing my face by getting rid of all the excess dirt and oil underneath the surface. I use a tiny amount enough to cover the tip of my index finger and the scrub works miracles in this tiny amount. otherwise it is way too much. This stuff has just the right amount of salicylic acid without being harsh. There must be some special ingredient that makes this stuff work so well. It makes me feel like a million bucks." —E.K. Wright

Get a pack of three from Amazon for $18.89.

    14. A bottle of Benefit Cosmetics The POREfessional Face Primer is a lightweight balm designed specifically to quickly minimize the appearance of pores and fine lines for smooth skin.

    Sephora

Promising review: "If this product isn't working for you it's probably because you're sliding it all over your face. It's like a pore filler so you apply a little on your finger and the key is to DAB it on to the areas where your pores are most visible. I dab it on all my problem areas and then wait a minute so I know it's set, and then I use my Smashbox Photo Finish on the rest of my face. Another tip: for people with large pores when you apply your cream or liquid foundation the key is to use a circular buffing brush and move in circular motions on your cheeks and around your nose. Go clock-wise and then counter-clockwise repeatedly until your foundation is blended and you'll see your pores literally disappear! When you set it with powder don't use a brush in those areas either. Take a powder puff or sponge and dab the powder on to your areas where you just concealed the pores, and then dust off the excess with a fluffy brush. You will see the biggest difference in your skin I swear!" —50shades

Get it from Sephora for $32.

This is slightly tinted, I put it on under my foundation and I feel like it spackles my pores over. It is a pore minimizer. You can even apply it over your foundation or wear it alone. Pores are virtually filled in and gone. I would recommend it if you have pores to hide." —S. Garrett

Get it from Amazon for $30.80.

    16. A rechargeable POPPYO blackhead remover which uses suction to remove blackheads, whiteheads, dead skin, grease, and makeup residue.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "A must-have for large pores! Great product! I have used this on me and my husband. It works great for both and we have very different skin types. The suction it provides is impressive and you can see the amount of gunk that it removes. Also, the different heads that are provided are great." —megan williams

It was comfortable to remove. After the first use, I got rid of the visible blackheads. It was amazing to see them left on the pulled mask! Also, the packaging is very nice and stylish. I am thinking about buying it for my girlfriend as a present." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $11.99.

    18. A Sunday Riley Space Race Fight Acne, Oil + Pores at Warp Speed Kit complete with a face oil, toner, and mask to treat and prevent acne, while reducing the appearance of redness and enlarged pores.

    Sephora

The kit includes Sunday Riley's Saturn Sulfur Acne Treatment Mask, U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil, and Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner.

Promising review: "This set is absolutely amazing. I noticed a dramatic impact on my skin after just one day. Not only have they helped lessen my acne they've also improved my overall skin quality. Pores are way less noticeable, my tone has improved, and my skin is so incredibly soft. I am absolutely blown away by these three. I love all of them. I use the toner and oil two times a day and spot treat with the sulfur mask overnight. I cannot say enough good things about these. It's pricey but the oil and toner will last a good while. A little goes a long way, especially with the toner. You don't even need an entire pump to cover your skin. I apply it directly to my face instead of using a cotton ball. It's too expensive to waste half the product and it's really not necessary since it starts off thick and then melts right into the skin. If you're debating trying these and have the extra $65, I highly recommend trying them. You will not regret it whatsoever." —BeeConley

Get it from Sephora for $65.

    19. A bottle of Origins' Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask designed to purify your skin by giving you a deep clean and visibly reducing pore size.

    Sephora

Promising review: "This product makes me wish I had taken before and after photos to show you all just how blown away I was by this product. You have no idea how skeptical I am of claims made by skincare products, since I often feel as though they can promise too much. The Origins charcoal mask, however, does everything it claims to do. I can't think of a single con to this product whatsoever. So here was my experience after the FIRST use: after washing my face and patting it dry, I went back over the skin with a semi-hot washcloth to open up the pores. Then I applied the charcoal mask to my face — the product is actually pretty thin, so to get an even distribution I applied it almost as I would a foundation, using my fingers to rub it in and then pat away any streaks so that every area is covered. The mask dries super fast and you can feel your skin tightening up. Even with the tightening feeling, I was still skeptical as to whether it would actually remove blackheads from the tip of my nose. Let me tell you, after rinsing off the mask (which is easy to do btw) my pores were dramatically clearer. It was a definite, visible improvement even after one use. It got rid of blackheads that even pore strips couldn't remove. I have no idea how, but it did. The product also soaks up pretty much any oil on your face, so after rinsing you'll need to moisturize right away. Although I have oily skin, my skin feels very dry immediately after using the mask. That's why I use this at night, so I can follow with a richer night-time moisturizer. If you have larger pores and blackheads, I highly recommend this mask. For me, this is a true miracle in a tube and I'll be buying this forever. It's such a great price too for how much you get. Like I said, I can't find any cons with this product at all." —RationalBeauty

Get it from Sephora for $26 or from Amazon for $24.94.

    20. A bottle of Caudalie's Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Serum, a lightweight pore-diminishing gel serum that uses natural salicylic acid to combat your blackheads, reduce pore size, fight breakouts, and reduce excess oil.

Promising review: "I was hoping to not break this five-star streak this product has got going on and I honestly can't. I'm an esthetician so of course, I am a skincare junkie and beyond! I try everything, literally, I should have my own YouTube channel to review products! This serum is crazy amazing, I haven't used it for too long but a good three weeks and I swear it's magic. I had a large 'zit' I could feel coming up on the bridge of my nose and it was gone the net morning. My pores are less noticeable. Nothing gets rid of pores (let's be real) and my skin is glowing! I think this is my best spot treatment and pore treatment ever! I may have only been three weeks I'm pretty sure anyways!" —NycoleMUA

Not only does it have a light scent, and feel light and comfortable on the skin, but the very first time I used it, it noticeably tightened my pores.
