Troye Sivan Told The Story Of Almost Fainting When He Performed With Taylor Swift

"I was like, oh my god, I'm going to fall over and pass out in front of all these people."

If you didn't know, Troye Sivan just released his second album, Bloom. It's full of bops and if you haven't listened to it yet, you really should.

In a totally casual turn of events, Troye announced the album's release date on stage at the Rose Bowl in LA after Taylor Swift invited him to perform as a special guest on her Reputation Stadium Tour. It's casual!

Troye has been super complimentary of Taylor ever since. He said she's his "dream duet partner", and revealed she was one of the first people to hear Bloom in full.

But during an appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday, Troye revealed he was so nervous during the performance that he felt like he was tripping on acid and almost fainted.

Basically, the whole thing came about because Troye reached out to Taylor's team to see if he could get some free tickets to her show in LA.

Taylor told him that he could come to the show if he performed with her as a special guest, and obviously he said yes, because this was his way in. We stan a king who knows how to get what he wants!!

But when the time came and Troye popped up out of a trapdoor in the stage and looked out at the crowd of 60,000 people, he thought he was going to pass out.

And what do you do in that situation? You look at the floor and try to ground yourself in the moment. Until you realise the floor is made of flashing screens.

So then Troye decided to focus on the one person standing next to him instead of the huge crowd of people. Until he remembered the person next to him was Taylor Swift.

But don't worry — eventually Troye came up with a great way to calm himself down.

Don't worry Troye — you totally killed it.
