Taylor Swift Helped Pay A Fan's Tuition Fees And The Story Will Make You Love Her Even More

"She has made my family happy through music for years and now through something we could never, ever have imagined or hoped for."

It's no secret that Taylor Swift is an extremely generous soul.

Throughout her career, Taylor has made hefty donations to plenty of good causes. She donated to the March for Our Lives movement last year, and in April gave $113,000 to a nonprofit organisation that fights anti-LGBTQ legislation in her home state of Tennessee.

She also has a history of donating money to fans in need.

In 2015, Taylor donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe for an 11-year-old fan who was diagnosed with leukaemia and hospitalised for six months, meaning she missed the opportunity to see Taylor in concert.

The crowdfunding website changed their $15,000 donation limit as a result of Taylor's generosity.

Now Taylor has done it again, donating over $6,000 CAD (around $4,800 USD) to help pay a fan's tuition fees after she posted on Tumblr that she may have to drop out of school.

The fan, whose name is Ayesha, posted a screenshot of a PayPal transaction from Taylor Nation. The accompanying note read: "Ayesha, get your learn on girl. I love you! Taylor".

"I posted about struggling with paying for tuition," she wrote on Instagram. "Two hours later, I get this in my email. I have no words and I can't stop crying."

She went on to publish a Tumblr post explaining how meaningful the donation was to her and her family, explaining that her mother has a chronic kidney disease and her parents were trying to take out loans to help pay her tuition.

"i truly do not have words and i will never, ever be able to repay her for the love and kindness she has shown me right now," she wrote.

Taylor also jumped on Tumblr to like some of Ayesha's posts about the donation (and also about cookies).
