27 B Plot Couples That Are Better Than The A Plot Couples

    I said what I said!

We asked the members of the BuzzFeed Community to share with us which B plot couples they like more than the A plot couples from their favorite TV Shows. Here are some of the best responses:

    1. Phoebe and Mike from Friends

I thought their's was one of the sweetest and most endearing relationships of all time.

    2. Chuck and Blair from Gossip Girl

    The CW

Just look at how widely popular they became, even as a side couple. The the main couple of Gossip Girl is and always will be Serena and Dan, but the writers must not have bet on the chemistry between the actors that played Chuck and Blair, which ultimately lead to this side couple — who wasn't even supposed to be a couple in the first place — being so magnetic that they eventually overpowered Dan and Serena.

    3. Kevin and Holt from Brooklyn 99

Their love is so unique. They're both low-key kinda odd, but they seem to have found the single other person like them in the world. They love and respect each other, which is amazing to watch. Even when times get tough, they find a way to work through it and grow their relationship. They constantly go outside of their comfort zone for each other, and it just makes them MORE AWESOME!

    4. Dave and Lane from Gilmore Girls

    The WB

Dave and Lane had a way better relationship than any of Rory's. They connected instantly and maintained that connection throughout their short-lived relationship. The dude read the entire bible for her. The best Rory got was that toy rocket from Logan.

    5. Mark and Lexi from Grey's Anatomy

I always loved Mark Sloan and Lexi Grey more than Meredith and Derek. It broke my heart both times they broke up. Lexi and Mark were both so good for each other and they had great chemistry. I was upset when they killed Lexi, but I think it was only right that Mark died, too. They were soulmates. They were the best couple on that show.

    6. Dr. Cox and Jordan from Scrubs

They push each other and call each other out on their crap. When Jordan said to Cox, “I’m sick of pretending that we don’t like each other. It’s distinctly not fun anymore. Would you like to know why? Because a) we are over twelve and b) we actually do like each other. In fact, brace yourself, we love each other.” That solidified my love for them!

    7. Stiles and Lydia from Teen Wolf

Scott and Allison/Kira/Malia were the main couples, but there was something about Stiles and Lydia that made me like them more.

    8. Sookie and Jackson from Gilmore Girls

    The WB

They communicate so well and never make fun of each other for their weird habits or taste. I just love them and their pink house.

    9. Enzo and Bonnie from The Vampire Diaries

    The CW

The Delena/Stelena/Steroline debate was getting exhausting and I hate how boring and cliché those couples became towards the end. Enzo and Bonnie genuinely had a good, strong, and HEALTHY relationship. No drama, no love triangles. The way it ended was absolutely brutal and unnecessary.

    10. Lavon and Lemon in Hart of Dixie

    The CW

I know Hart of Dixie revolved around the main love triangle, but I personally love Lemon and Mayor Lavon Hayes. Their history coupled with the longing glances...gets me every time. Lavon brings out Lemon's softer side. I just love them.

    11. Ron and Diane from Parks and Recreation

Ron is such a great, active dad for the girls. When he initially had some trouble adjusting to being part of a family, Diane talked him down and showed him he could still be "off the grid" while also being there for his family. They're perfect for each other and I will never not love them.

    12. Sawyer and Juliet from Lost

They were both seriously unlucky in love with other people when they were thrown together on The Island. They had no one else to rely on, so they had no choice but to rely on one another. But that reliance eventually turned into respect and appreciation, which took the form of LOVE — which I loved! Sawliet rules.

    13. Samantha and Smith from Sex and the City

Samantha didn't do commitment, but the closest she came to commitment was with Smith. When they were together, Smith respected her and her choices, treated her like a queen, and wanted nothing but the best for her. Samantha was considerate of him, wanted him to succeed, and loved and cared for his feelings. It was clear that they had a lot of love for each other — and still do, even though their relationship has ended.

    14. Kirk and Lulu from Gilmore Girls

    The WB

Their relationship showed me that there is someone out there for everyone. Lulu is someone who understands Kirk and all his weird quirks and odd jobs.

    15. Sam and Gilly from Game of Thrones

They are the most functional couple in Westeros, even though they met in a very dysfunctional way. He is her knight in shining armor. She cannot fathom how people can treat him badly because he is the best person she has ever met.

    16. Winston and Aly from New Girl

The buildup to their relationship was wonderful. AND THEIR PROPOSAL IS STILL ONE OF THE BEST AND SWEETEST AND FUNNIEST THINGS IN THE WORLD. They're hilarious and sweet and always uniquely themselves — which are always the best couples to ship.

    17. Jake and Peyton from One Tree Hill

    The WB

First of all, Jake is one of the best characters on that whole show and deserved someone who really cared for him and his daughter. Second, Peyton is that someone! They compliment each other way better than Lucas and Peyton ever will!

    18. Mickey and Ian from Shameless

Yes they have their problems, but Mickey really cares for Ian, and you see that when Ian was going through his mental health issues and Mickey stuck by him. He stopped being this thug and became a really sweet, caring guy for Ian.

    19. Willow and Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer

    The WB

They loved and supported one another, but also worked through and overcame some serious issues — all while being wholesome as hell. Their relationship was admirable while all of Buffy's relationships were toxic, problematic, and unhealthy.

    20. Angela and Hodgins from Bones

They took a break in the early seasons of the show, but then got back together when they realized that they’re meant to be together. They go through so much together but are still very strong, both as individuals and as a couple. They’re great parents to their son and their relationship seems pretty realistic as well.

    21. Xiomara and Rogelio from Jane the Virgin

    The CW

Jane's constant love triangle drama is exhausting, but Xo and Ro overcame such obstacles to be together. Their unwavering support for each other is one of the show's many examples of a healthy and beautiful family dynamic.

    22. Carol and Susan from Friends

They are, no contest, my favorite couple on the show. I wish to this day that they had more screen time.

    23. Phyllis and Bob Vance from The Office

They're just the cutest thing! They have a great love story and Bob is always willing to crack some skulls for Phyllis at the drop of a hat. Not to mention, their sexual chemistry is off the charts!

    24. Abby and David from Scandal

Loved them as a couple....They deserved a forever happiness together. Wearers of the white hat!

    25. Kurt and Blaine from Glee

To me, Kurt and Blaine's relationship seems healthy and extremely realistic. Kurt and Blaine also have more on-chemistry than Rachel and Finn had.

    26. Crosby and Jasmine from Parenthood

I’ve always felt that Crosby and Jasmine never got enough attention on Parenthood. They're so cute together, especially with Jabbar, but their relationship was never highlighted as much as the others.

    27. Grey Worm and Missandei from Game of Thrones

Their love was so pure and genuine that whenever they had a scene (which was not often enough), I found myself hanging onto their every word.
