These Iconic "Parks And Rec" Scenes Were Actually Improvised And I Can't Stop Watching Them

    Stop. Pooping.

Last night, my fangirl ass was over the moon after attending the Parks and Recreation 10th Anniversary Reunion at Paley Fest.

    I still have goosebumps.

During the panel, Michael Schur, the creator of the show, revealed to us that for every take of Parks and Rec there would be a "fun run" for the actors to improvise. And some of the best scenes came from those moments:

    NBC

    1. When Chris' body was breaking down from the flu and he tried to give himself a "pep talk":

    NBC

Season 3, Episode 2: "Flu Season"

    2. When Leslie was also suffering from the flu and Andy tried to help:

    NBC

Season 3, Episode 2: "Flu Season"

    3. When everyone was drunk off Snake Juice, aka when Ron was dancing in Janet Snakehole's hat:

    NBC

Season 3, Episode 13: "The Fight"

Fun fact! Amy Poehler directed this episode, and the scenes of everyone being drunk in front of the camera was an attempt to make her laugh from her director's chair.

    4. When Ben was speaking drunken gibberish:

    NBC

Season 3, Episode 13: "The Fight"

    5. When Janet Snakehole was speaking drunken gibberish...in Spanish:

    NBC

Season 3, Episode 13: "The Fight"

    6. When Andy was...singing drunken gibberish?:

    ABC

Season 3, Episode 13: "The Fight"

    7. When Tom got his metaphors mixed up:

    NBC

Season 3, Episode 13: "The Fight"

    8. When Jerry did...this:

    NBC

Season 3, Episode 13: "The Fight"

    9. When Leslie was complaining about her fight with Ann:

    NBC

Season 3, Episode 13: "The Fight"

    10. And finally, when Donna shook the entire room with this one line:

    NBC

Season 4, Episode 14: "Campaign Shakeup"
