21 Celebrities Who Were On "Glee" That'll Leave You Just A Little Shocked

Hello, fellow gleeks and casual Glee viewers. It's a known fact that I'm 100% obsessed with any and all things Glee.

As a glover — Glee lover — there was nothing I loved more than all the celeb guest stars who appeared on the show, and after a deep Wiki search, I realized there have been A LOT. So, I am here to list them all*.

Here are some of our fave celebs who are also honoroable Glee alums:

1. Kristin Chenoweth

FOX

Kristen played April Rhodes, the hot mess with a heart of gold who was an old classmate of Mr. Schue's. She joined the New Directions in Season 1 to help them win when Rachel quit for a hot sec.

Best moment: Her wearing this cowgirl getup.

2. John Stamos

FOX

John played Dr. Carl Howell, the hot dentist who dated Emma in Season 2. ALSO, he was responsible for the nitrogen-induced Britney Spears dreams during the, IMO, best episode of Glee.

Best moment: When he facilitated all the Britney-dreams for the glee kids.

3. Matt Bomer

FOX

Matt played Cooper Anderson, Blaine's too-cool-for-school older brother.

Best moment: The entire time he was on screen. Sa-woon.

4. Jeff Goldblum

FOX

Jeff played Hiram Berry, one of Rachel's adoptive dads.

Best moment: Just him, being good ol' J.G.

5. Neil Patrick Harris

FOX

Neil played Bryan Ryan, an old high school rival of Mr. Schue's who also tried to sabotage the Glee club.

Best moment: When he and Mr. Schue sang "Piano Man." I friggin' love "Piano Man."

6. Eve

Eve played Grace Hitchens, the director of the Jane Adams show choir team. They're one of the teams who stole the New Directions' set list during sectionals.

Best moment: When she tried to right her wrongs after stealing the New Directions' set list.

7. Carol Burnett

FOX

Carol played Doris Sylvester, Sue Sylvester's Nazi-hunting mother.

Best moment: When she sang "Ohio" with Sue.

8. Britney Spears

Britney played herself in the ICONIC "Britney/Brittany" episode. She appeared in some of the aforementioned nitrogen-induced Britney dreams.

Best moment: Her cameos throughout the entire episode.

9. Gwyneth Paltrow

FOX

Gwyneth played Holly Holiday, a hip substitute teacher who had a tryst with Mr. Schue in Season 2.

Best moment: Her and the glee club's mashup of "Singing In The Rain" and "Umbrella."

10. Katie Couric

FOX

Katie Couric played herself. She interviewed Sue after her failed attempt to shoot a Cheerio out of a cannon.

Best moment: When she schooled Sue and told her Mr. Schue was taking her Cheerio budget and putting it towards the glee club.

11. NeNe Leaks

FOX

NeNe played Roz Washington, the synchronized swim team coach. Later in the series, she was also the co-coach of the Cheerios, much to Sue's chagrin.

Best moment: Her constantly boasting about winning a bronze medal for synchronized swimming in the Olympics.

12. Grant Gustin

FOX

Grant played Sebastian Smythe, a rival Warbler who tried to break up Kurt and Blaine.

Best moment: His and Santana's showdown set to "Smooth Criminal."

13. Whoopi Goldberg

FOX

Whoopi played Carmen Tibideaux, the Dean of Vocal Performance and Song Interpretation at NYADA (the performing arts school that Rachel and Kurt attend in Season 4).

Best moment: Rocking the HELL out of that head-wrap.

14. Kate Hudson

FOX

Kate played Cassandra July, one of Rachel's teachers at NYADA — actually, the only teacher we see of Rachel's at NYADA.

Best moment: Her and Rachel's dance-off to "All That Jazz."

15. Sarah Jessica Parker

FOX

SJP played Isabelle Wright, an exec at Vogue.com where Kurt — somehow — interned.

Best moment: This face she makes when Rachel breaks out into a solo of "Turkey Lurkey Time" while everyone else was sining "Let's Have A Kiki."

16. Idina Menzel

FOX

Idina played Shelby Corcoran, the director of Vocal Adrenaline—a rival show choir group—as well as the bio-mom of Rachel and the adoptive mother of Beth (Quinn and Puck's baby.)

Best moment: Her singing that beautiful cover of "Pokerface" with Rachel.

17. Olivia Newton John

Olivia guest starred as herself during an episode where she went to McKinley to console Sue after people trolled her on the internet. She also was a show choir competition judge later in Season 1.

Best moment: When she sang "Physical" with Sue.

18. Josh Groban

FOX

Josh was the obsessee of Sandy Ryerson, proud member of the Acafellas, as well as a show choir competition judge later in Season 1.

Best moment: When he surprisingly showed up to the Acafellas performance just to hit Sandy with a restraining order.

19. Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay was one of the show choir judges at Nationals in Season 3.

Best moment: Her banter with Perez Hilton.

Victor played Mr. Schue's crowd-happy father back in Season 1.
