Netflix Dropped The Trailer For "Dash & Lily," And Now I Am Feelin' The Christmas Spirit

"Dare to fall in love." AHHHHHH!!!

The year is 2010. I am a high school lass who's obsessed with teen romance novels and not much else. Fast-forward to a decade later, and not much has changed, aside from my age. Needless to say, when Netflix dropped the trailer for its newest teen romance with a holiday twist, Dash & Lily, sleigh bells started a-ringing!

The series is based on Rachel Cohn and David Levithan's YA novel Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, which I read and reread in my teen years.

The series follows the titular Lily (Midori Francis), who leaves a cherry-red notebook in the shelves of her favorite bookstore — the Strand in New York City — for a handsome lad to find and accept her ~book of dares~.

Little does Lily know, Dash (Austin Abrams) — who is lacking in Christmas cheer — finds the book, and thus starts their adventures of dares throughout the city, and rumblings of romance through leather-bound pages.

This series had me at "Hello," but when I saw that Austin Abrams from Euphoria was cast as Dash, it shot straight to the top of my anticipation list.

I also loved Midori in Good Boys.

Needless to say, we're in store for some Premium Teen Content™ with a mistletoe on top.

We have the cheeky BFF who teases Dash about his crush on Lily — even though they have yet to meet in person:

We have an ugly Christmas sweater that I also want in my closet:

We have a ~cool teen bedroom~ that no IRL teen actually has:

We have Dash doing a ~dash through the city~:

And we have a cinematic parallel that hits you right in the feels:

So hold on to your Santa hats, folks, because Dash & Lily drops on Netflix on Nov. 10. Yes, my calendar is already marked, and yes, I will be watching this all in one day.
