Coachella's main headliner is actually the newest COVID variant.

It was just announced that Coachella and Stagecoach — which both take place in Indio Valley the last three weekends of April — will NOT have any COVID requirements:

The official Stagecoach Twitter account posted this to their account and further explained their policy on their website: "By entering the festival, attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and confirm that they will adhere to local quarantine mandates and the CDC quarantine requirements."

Festival Admission Update: As we prepare to spend an incredible weekend in the desert together we are announcing that there will be no vaccination, testing or masking requirements at Stagecoach 2022, in accordance with local guidelines. Visit https://t.co/mSx3KWeASg for more info

ICYMI, while Coachella didn't post anything from their account, the festivals are owned by the same entertainment company and adhere by the same rules, which they outline on their site.

Basically, you don't need proof of vaccination...

    ...a negative PCR test...

...or a mask to attend Coachella and Stagecoach!

This year's headliners include Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and Kanye West.

Both Billie Eilish and Harry Styles have spoken publicly about the importance of the COVID vaccine. Billie, who got it back in August, spoke about her experience with Howard Stern:

"The vaccine is fucking amazing, and it also saved Finneas from getting it; it saved my parents from getting it; it saved my friends from getting it... I want it to be clear that it is because of the vaccine I’m fine. I think if I weren’t vaccinated, I would have died, because it was bad."

And Harry postponed his domestic and world tours until it was safe for him and his crew to travel:

So, I'm very interested to see if Billie and Harry — or any of the other performers — will still perform in a festival that's partying like it's 2019.

Anyway, if you're planning on attending Coachella or Stagecoach this year — stay safe!
