Did You Get The Message Behind "Brave" Or Did It Kinda Go Over Your Head?

I don’t think many people realize the confusion and harm that certain gender stereotypes perpetuated in classic Disney films can cause. Just in case you didn't know: MEN DON’T ALWAYS HAVE TO SAVE WOMEN!

And although that may seem like the case when it comes to many Disney films, Brave was a beautiful deviation from the damsel-in-distress trope we're so used to getting Disney-fied down our throats. There's NO prince to the rescue in Brave, and honestly, we love that. And we know a lot of you liked that too!
