When your kid is really nervous about a test at school, then they ace it:
When they're trying to be brave at the dentist's office:
At gymnastics class:
When their entire little friend squad shows up to their birthday party:
When your kid sneezes, and you're like, "Please don't get sick, please don't get sick..."
...then they say they're sick so they don't have to do any chores, but you think they're lying...
...until they end up actually getting sick, and you feel terrible for ever doubting them.
Every day, when you get home from work:
When they've been begging for screen time all day and you finally say yes:
When you ask them to clean up their toys and they immediately turn the drama up to 11:
When it's bedtime. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
And when you hear a loud noise in the other room, then your kid runs in looking guilty. You ask them what happened, and they say, "Nothing!"
