3. We have the technology to eradicate the need for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing, and it's only our really weird and controlling approach to work, coupled with ableist 'work ethic' bullshit that means it's not in place.

I wonder about the mental capacity of some of these people. Like, if they can't realise how awful they're being, how can they do their jobs? Makes you wonder how much incompetence there is in the workplace.
