Only People Who Went To Public Elementary School Can Check Off More Than 15 Of These Specific Memories On This List

Check off all the things you've done:

Perfected your bubble handwriting which felt like you finally made it in life

Experienced the excitement of a book fair

Mouthed the lyrics during assemblies while everyone was singing because you were a "rebel"

Whacked the person you disliked on the head the hardest while playing "duck, duck, goose"

Spread glue on your hand and waited for it to dry because it was satisfying to pick it off

Used your arm or anything remotely close to you to cover your test answers from your classmates just because you thought they were annoying

Wore a plastic cone as a hat while the PE teacher wasn't looking because you thought you were funny

Sat on the benches in year 6/6th grade and looked down at recess thinking, "we were there, and now we're here"

Had an argument with the other 6th graders about whose turn it was to sit on the bench

Stuffed toilet paper in the toilet just because you wanted to

Did laps around the classroom during clean up time to make the teacher think you were doing something productive

Unstuck yourself during a game of "stuck in the mud" because you thought no one was looking

Listened to the teacher's warning stories about that one guy who swung on his chair and got his head cracked open and got really scared

Felt like you were the taking the ring to Mordor because you were asked to take a note to another classroom

Made lots of posters and realized you were getting close to the end of the school year

Ran out of the lot gate to retrieve a ball someone kicked over the fence and you felt blessed doing it

Pulled at daisies playing "he loves me, he loves me not" and used that as a legitimate way to tell if someone liked you

Performed at the school graduation ceremony thinking you were the king of the world

And after feeling on top of the world you cried because you only had a few days left at that school

Spent 90% of the lesson writing the date and title so you hardly did work

Any class trips were the absolute highlight of your life

Sat in the back row of the bus and felt like you'd finally made it in life

Got chosen to give out the whiteboards and pens and gave the person you didn't like the dirtiest whiteboard and a pen that wasn't working

Had to do PE barefoot in gym and almost puked when things got stuck to your foot

Spent 99% of any ICT lesson searching through clip art in order to make your word document look absolutely on point

Was at the front of the line while walking to assembly feeling like royalty

Pinched somebody's thumbs VERY HARD while playing "heads down thumbs up"

Ran to lunch because you were scared that the good food would go

Saw another school on a school trip and sized them up like you were preparing for war

Had to share a textbook with someone because there were never enough

Forgot your gym clothes so you had to use the ridiculous content within the lost-and-found box
