This image has been around for a long time. So long in fact, the Internet can’t quite seem to pin it down (though if your GoogleFu is better than mine, by all means leave its origin in the comments!).
However, it surfaced once more on Reddit today, again raising the age-old conundrum, “What the hell is that kangaroo doing?”
Luckily user Moongrazer was able to discern this marsupial’s sinister intent.
As a defensive tactic, a larger kangaroo will often lead its pursuer into water where, standing submerged to the chest, the kangaroo will attempt to drown the attacker under water.
In other words, we’re witnessing an attempt by this kangaroo to trick the photographer into deep water so it can MURDER him.
