Aurora Lights Seen As Far South As Georgia

Now there’s something you don’t see every night. On Monday, October 24th a huge cloud of particles from the Sun hit the Earth. The resulting geomagnetic storm touched off one of the brightest flare ups in the Aurora Borealis in decades.
