Some books are "live action" and some books are "animated." Think about it for a minute and you'll know exactly what I mean. The Chronicles of Narnia are definitely "animated" novels. The live-action movies just didn't do them justice. Same thing for A Wrinkle in Time.

Either some leftover precooked rice, or a pack of Ready Rice, mixed with some black beans, a dash of taco seasoning and olive oil, and topped with cheese and salsa. I might add some chicken or whatever leftover protein is on hand, but it's perfectly satisfying without.
