You see, there's an inexplicable phenomenon that has plagued McDonald's for decades. That's right, I'm talking about how every time you want a McFlurry, the ice cream machine at McDonald's just happens to be broken.
McDonalds: sorry our ice cream machine is broken. First of all, ur machine has been "broken" for like 2 years now....
Well my sweet friends, allow me to introduce you to the app Ice Check. It not only lets you search for the nearest McDonald's, but it also lets you see which locations have working ice cream machines!!
"I came up with the idea for the app around a year ago, after a late night Oreo McFlurry craving went unfulfilled due to the ice cream machine being down," creator Raina McLeod told BuzzFeed.
So how does it work? Simply pull up your location on the app and you will see nearby McDonald's locations. If the icon is gray, it means their ice cream machine is down, but if the icon is pink, well buddy, it's time to get your ice cream on.
And if you show up to a McDonald's and their ice cream machine is broken? Just click on the location and change the status to off.
How I'm about to look driving to McDonald's knowing damn well their ice cream machine is working.
