Russian hairstylist Daniil Istomin is changing the haircutting game one chop at a time by using a pretty unconventional tool to cut clients' hair: an ax.
Istomin's method is super chill: clients either kneel or lay down and place their head on a large wooden cutting board, and then Istomin takes an ax (OR TWO), and starts chopping away.
Oh, and if his ax cuts weren't badass enough, there's another stylist in the background using a blowtorch to burn off split ends.
I'm simultaneously amazed and terrified watching people subject their heads to Istomin's axes, but I think it's safe to say Sweeney Todd and Edward Scissorhands have nothing on Istomin and his salon.
Also, the results are also STUNNING. So, if it takes an ax to get my fringe to look this good, then sign me up twice.
