This Is How The Late-Night Hosts Reacted To Trump's Latest Press Conference

"First of all, sir, the opposite of the alt-right isn't the 'alt-left' — it's the not-Nazis."

On Tuesday, Donald Trump gave a press conference offering up his thoughts on the incident that occurred in Charlottesville, Virginia, this past weekend.

Among his remarks, Trump defended the white nationalist protesters in Charlottesville, saying, "You had a lot of people in that group that were there to innocently protest and very legally protest."

He also made claims that the "alt-left" were just as responsible for the Charlottesville violence. “There was a group on this side, you can call them the left," he said. "You have just called them the left — that came violently attacking the other group. You can say what you want. That's the way it is.”

Despite the press conference being held just minutes before many late-night shows taped, each rushed to respond to the president's words. On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel called Trump "completely unhinged."
