1. Watsons Bay

2. Auburn Botanical Gardens

These gardens feature two lakes, a waterfall, and a winding river. Save your Instagram uploads for August when the gardens feature the annual Cherry Blossom Festival - your followers will thank you.

3. Parsley Bay, Vaucluse

Tucked away in Sydney's eastern suburbs is this idyllic harbour beach, featuring bushwalking tracks, trickling waterfalls, and clear shallow waters. But it's the century old footbridge connecting both sides of the bay that will really standout in your photos.

Bare Island provides some scenic views over La Perouse. While the historic military fort and tunnels can only be visited by guided tour, the footbridge connecting the island to the suburbs is fully accessible. However, I recommend 'gramming this gem from afar, especially at sunrise.

Wedding Cake Rock does not need you dangling your feet over the edge to be a good picture. In fact, we advise against it. The sandstone rocks are located in the Royal National Park and are best viewed from afar, to capture the whole formation in all its glory. Play it safe with this one.

10. The Boathouse, Palm Beach

If you're heading to Palm Beach, you need to stop at The Boathouse. The entrance of this casual waterfront café is surrounded by an abundant display of flowers and fresh produce guaranteed to stand out on your Instagram feed.
