Online Protection & ENforcement of Digital Trade (OPEN) Act is a new bill that is backed by all the major tech companies as an alternative to the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). OPEN works by directing copyright infringement claims to the International Trade Commission (ITC) for review instead of giving Big Media all the power to shut down and criminalize websites. If you are against SOPA, then you should definitely check out OPEN. Found via BitShare.
