ICYMI, public schools across Los Angeles were ordered shut Tuesday due to an unspecified terrorist threat that officials now believe was mostly like a hoax.
On Twitter, reaction was swift.
The news struck some students harder than others.
While parents felt a little different about the whole thing:

But for a lot of kids who had the day off it was a cause for celebration...
Although for others the shutdown was just a couple of days too early...

Some made fun of L.A. officials for being so cautious compared to New York City, where schools remained open despite the same threat being received there.
