We love our family and sometimes we hate them! But no matter what these siblings have proven that family does come first!

1. Cyclops & Havok - X-Men

When they were kids Scott (Cyclops) and Alex (Havok) were on a plane ride with their parents. When the plane was attacked they were strapped together into a parachute and thrown out the plane in order for them to have a chance at survival. They survived and were put in an orphanage where they were split apart. But soon they reunited and became leaders in the fight for mutant rights with the band of merry mutants, the X-Men.

2. Jaime & Cersei Lannister – Game of Thrones

Now no one can say that Jaime and Cersei don’t love each other. Most people will probably tell you that they love each other too much. They both care for each other and are no stranger to showing those affections...while in bed together. Yeah, this brother/sister duo took it to that level of intimacy. Say what you will but Jaime will do anything for Cersei. He even pushed a boy out a window when he saw Cersei and him having sex.

3. Mario & Luigi – Super Mario Bros.

Mario and Luigi are Nintendo’s most famous characters. These two Italian plumber brothers are mostly known for running around The Mushroom Kingdom collecting power-ups that infuse them with superpowers and saving Princess Peach from the evil Bowser.

4. Albus & Aberforth Dumbledore – Harry Potter

Warner Bros.

For most of their lives Albus and Aberforth had a strained relationship. Aberforth resented all the attention Albus received and spent most of his time carrying for his sick younger sister, Ariana. When a magical duel between Albus and Aberforth ended with the accidental death of Ariana the brother’s animosity towards each other further increased. Sadly, the two would have little contact for the remainder of their lives.

5. Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver – The Avengers

The twins Wanda and Pietro have always been close. Pietro is fiercely protective of his sister and has proven that on more than one occasion. He provides her with physical protection while she provides her brother with emotional stability. The pair had a tumultuous life and learned that when it comes down to it they can only depend on each other.

6. Luke Skywalker & Princess Leia – Star Wars

The twins Luke and Leia were born from the fallen Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Senator of Naboo Padme Amidala. Because their father joined the dark side of the Force, as Darth Vader, the twins were split apart at birth and hidden for their protection. Fate would bring them back together as they opposed Dark Vader and the evil Emperor. They would eventually lead the galaxy to salvation through their mutual affinity with the Force.

7. Thor & Loki - Thor

Thor and Loki are the sons of Odin, ruler of Asgard. When they were younger Thor would constantly succeed in all his endeavours leaving Loki to begrudge his brother. But Loki soon found out the truth that he is not truly a son of Odin. He was only adopted after being found as a baby when he was cast away by Laufey, the king of the frost giants and enemy of Asgard. Now as adults, Thor and Loki are sometimes uneasy allies or the bitterest of enemies.

8. Invisible Woman & Human Torch – Fantastic Four

Johnny is brash and impulsive while Sue is caring and nurturing. While on an outer space mission they were bombarded with cosmic radiation which ended up bestowing them with super powers. Johnny was able to transform himself into a living human torch and Sue was gifted with the ability to turn herself invisible. Now they both use their powers to help those in need. The new Fantastic Four film will see a re-imagining of the characters but the brother/sister relationship remains a constant.
