Fifth Harmony's New Single 'Down' Is Being Hit With Music Plagiarism Accusations

The tea is scalding but what is the truth?

American girl group Fifth Harmony have released their new single 'Down' featuring Gucci Mane worldwide.

The song has gotten a mixed reaction from the public, with many calling it "Work From Home" pt. II, to a future summer radio hit. Forbes called the single "sadly, stylistically less interesting than any prominent moment from their last full-length. If they wanted to come out of a moment of scandal with a banger, "Down" isn't the tune they should have led with...though that's not to say it's a bad composition. It's just that an album of such importance isn't typically fronted by something so basic".

Others have called it "pure radio candy".

Unfortunately for the new quartet, their new single has already been targeted as a "rip off" due to its similarities with a song released earlier last year by a group called Terror Jr.
