"Peep Show" Is Coming To An End And This Is Quite Sad

The end is in sight for the El Dude Brothers.

The boss of Channel 4 comedy has said plans are afoot to wrap up the story of Mark and Jeremy.

Phil Clarke told Chortle:

"We're talking about Peep Show, how that's going to be rounded off. The discussion is about how it's going to conclude.

The long-running flatshare comedy is about to shoot its ninth series and it looked like it could have run and run.

In 2011, Robert Webb told Digital Spy: “I think we made an informal pact really, as soon as the second series was commissioned, that we want to do it for as long as they’ll let us. There are so many really great sitcoms that could have gone on much longer, but there was this idea that you do two series and you walk away and you’re a bit cool about it.”

But it looks like the end really is coming for Jez and Mark.
