Tom Brooks From "90 Day Fiancé" Is One Of The Most Toxic People I've Ever Seen On A Reality TV Show

Grow up, Tom.

If you're not already addicted to 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, you've probably heard of it by way of the Big Ed and Rose drama.

Ed has received a lot of criticism for the way he treated Rose on his trip to meet her in the Philippines. Whether it was asking her to take an STI test (because he was suspicious of her past) or telling her to shave her legs, people thought he overstepped some boundaries.

While I thoroughly enjoy giving Ed shit, there's another man on the show who's exhibited deplorable behavior, but somehow escaped the media spotlight...Until now.

Meet Tom Brooks.

Tom and Darcey Silva started dating on the previous season of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and their relationship left off on an unfinished note due to the distance (he lives in England and she lives in Connecticut).

The current season starts off with Darcey revealing that Tom has been awful at communicating with her since she came back from visiting him in the UK. In fact, he didn't even call her on her birthday.

Darcey then finds out from her sister that Tom has recently met another woman and posted photos online of the two of them cuddling up to each other in Nottingham — Tom's hometown, which he showed Darcey around when she visited him in the previous season.

You'd think this would mean that Tom was totally done with Darcey, but no. That's not how toxic people work. Tom FaceTimes Darcey and makes no mention of this new woman, but tells her that he's going to be in New York and wants to meet up with her.

Darcey agrees to meet up with him and tells us that she's gonna show him who's boss and end things with him for good. GO DARCE! Girl power!

They meet up at a fancy restaurant in New York, and when Darcey confronts Tom about how he's made no time for her, he becomes extremely defensive and tells her she never lets him finish talking and that she's self-obsessed.

Then, when she brings up the other woman, he admits that he's fallen for someone else and says that Darcey "didn't love him the way he needed to be loved" and self-sabotaged their relationship. He says he has no romantic feelings for her and "loves her like a sister."

And that's not all, folks. After Darcey says she's done with him and that he means nothing to her right now (rightfully so after his monstrous behavior), he says "I'm glad" with a cold, emotionless expression. Then, in a disgusting example of gaslighting, he tells her to try not to ruin her next relationship.

AND IT GETS WORSE. She tells him she's onto bigger and better things, and he says, "Did you put weight on?" This was the point of no return for me. There is no coming back from commenting on a woman's weight, so once Tom said that, he was dead to me (not that I liked him all that much in the first place).

Darcey storms off, then has a cry in her hotel room. All I wanna do is hug her and egg Tom's house at the same time.

But alas, this asshole is STILL NOT DONE WITH HER. He surprises her at her house in Connecticut the next day to apologize (ever heard of personal space, Tom?) and tries to give her a letter he wrote. Darcey then closes the door in his face, and he drives away.

While driving back to the city, Tom says, "I actually found some happiness with Shannon. God knows after putting up with Darcey I deserve it." AKA his apology to Darcey was total bullshit and he is still the same prick he was 24 hours ago. Oh, and in a later episode, he FaceTimes Shannon and tells her he's gonna come visit her in Vancouver. WHY IS THIS MAN GETTING MORE SCREEN TIME, TLC?!

Let's fast-forward to last week's "Tell All," where Tom admits he reached out to not one, but two other girls who were on this season of the show for a date! This was after him and Darcey ended things, but it still doesn't help his shady reputation.

Honestly, people didn't give Tom enough shit at the "Tell All." He deserved to be torn apart for the despicable way he treated Darcey.

I hope this post spreads word of his scumbaggery far and wide! Love ya, Darce.
