15 Times People Should Have Hit "Delete" Instead Of "Post" On LinkedIn

    The gall.

    1. This person who included a paragraph of their credentials in a condolence message about the loss of someone's loved one:

A person sends the message "I am sorry for your lose [misspelled]," then signs it with about 50 credentials, including "adjunct professor of business, PhD [twice], MS, MIBA, RMC, MPA, MMC, MFP, BS," and on and on

    2. This person who jokingly compared the event they were hosting to Russia's invasion of Ukraine:

A message about "the most exclusive Amazon event of the year" begins with "While Russia is taking over Ukraine, we're taking over the Amazon event industry" and ends with "Whoever can't handle it, take shelter"

    3. This person who admitted to stalking their wife before pursuing her:

He says it took him two months to "book a meeting" with his wife; "Step 1: 'Stalk' before you talk" — in his case, at the same gym

    4. This person who shamed women who are victims of workplace harassment:

Message to a woman: "You encourage a man to touch you all over and then pretend how your boss is forcing himself on you; men respond to your hints, cues and clues; how come you are the only woman every man goes for? You are the loosest woman in town"

    5. And this person who shamelessly objectified women:

Message from "the #1 real estate wholesale coach": "Your biggest asset is your women" because you can't have sex with your business, your business doesn't make baby humans, your business doesn't change dirty diapers or clean your house

    6. This person who decided "Eh, rejecting this person isn't enough — I need to rub it in their face that they didn't get the job":

A person with 20 years' experience interviewed an analyst who was "arrogant" because he thought he knew more than they did, so this person did the "compassionate thing" and told him that he came across as arrogant and it would hold him back in his career

    7. This person who bragged about giving up social media...on a social media platform:

Person with a clown face covering their face on LinkedIn says "Today marks 5 weeks since I gave up social media"

    8. This person who had to tear themselves away from their LinkedIn for their own honeymoon:

    9. This person who helped absolutely no one with their bogus advice:

"I Help Solopreneurs Grow" texts, "Almost any job can be performed by someone willing to work hard enough"

    10. This person who didn't know the difference between "showing interest" and blatant harassment:

A hand holding an envelope with "Day 129" written on it, with the text "Showed up and dropped off a card every business day for 129 days for the CIO, with a new reason to work with me written on the card each day"; they were told to stop on the 129th day

    11. This person who's a professional at judging people:

Text: "Start a business: $999 = "too much," buy a new iPhone: $999 = "no problem"; healthy groceries: $100 = too much, dinner & dessert: $100 = no problem" and then says "Life is about choices, stop blaming the "lack of opportunity'"

    12. This person who gave really dangerous advice:

    13. This person who had a very unhealthy perspective on time that they felt the need to share:

    14. This person who believes companies have the right to take full advantage of you for no extra compensation:

    15. And finally, this person who seemed to take issue with a man spending $16 on a Netflix subscription:
