Megahn Markle just became a royal, but she's been dressing like a queen for years. She has always had a great sense of style, and even had a lifestyle blog (RIP The Tig), which she sadly had to delete (palace orders). BUT thanks to the tireless work of blogs likes Meghan's Fashion, which chronicles everything she wears, and where you can buy it, we can still get our Meghan fashion fix. She gets to wear things made by the best designers in the world, but since we don't all have the budget to keep up, here are some alternatives for us commoners.
Meghan wore a gorgeous navy dress to celebrate the Queen's 92nd birthday. The Stella McCartney piece will set you back $1,635.
The dupe: This KOH KOH cape dress is bit shorter, and the cape ~flowier,~ but it's also under $50, so I'm cool with that.
Here she is, looking like spring has sprung while she makes her way to meet delegates from the Commonwealth Youth Forum. She's wearing an Altuzarra dress that's available for $1,995.
The dupe: This Le Kate dress is pretty similar when it comes to fit and color. It's also $1,950 less than the one Meghan wore.
She paired her spring dress with a Oroton black and white crossbody bag that's worth $221.
The dupe: If you can't do $221, this Stradivarius stripe bag is a great contender. It's made of faux leather and just $26.
Meghan killed it at the Endeavour Fund Awards wearing a badass Alexander McQueen suit. She accessorized with a pair of Plaisirs de Birks gold earrings, which are worth $375.
The dupe: These Honeycat bar earrings haven't been worn by royalty, but they're adorable and most importantly they're only $18.
In March, she wore this while visiting Belfast. And look at those shoes! Her Jimmy Choos are so gorgeous I'm trying to figure out how to justify spending $625 on shoes.
The dupe: Though the texture's a little off, but these Penny Loves Kenny pumps look great, and actually fit my budget, since they're under $40.
That same day she accessorized her look with this cute and functional Charlotte Elizabeth leather bag. Though it's not as pricey as some of the other things in this list, the $250.61 price tag might be high for some.
The dupe: The shape isn't identical, but this BOYATU leather handbag will do the trick and save you $180.62.
The comfy yet stylish Mackage coat she wore has sold out multiple times already, but it's available for pre-order for $750.
The dupe: If like me, you can't splurge on a coat because you'd have to dip into your 401k (which, let's be honest, is kind of empty too), here's a cheaper option. This Boohoo coat is 100% polyester, so it may be a little itchy for some, BUT it's only $40.
She gave us Jackie O vibes in this black outfit she wore for Anzac Day. Her made-to-order beret was made by royal favorite, Philip Treacy.
The dupe: This Lawliet pillbox hat with a feather accent is the perfect accessory for a posh look.
That same day, she also carried a Jimmy Choo compact clutch which gave her look a modern twist, and almost gave me a heart attack when I saw it's $1,050.
The dupe: If you don't have a royal budget for accessories, and would like to save over $1,033, this HQdeal acrylic clutch is perfect for you.
Meghan looked elegant AF in the Black Halo dress she wore to the Women's Empowerment reception. The dress with a draped neckline is still available, but it'll cost ya $375.
The dupe: If you're looking for a Meghan Markle inspired LBD, I got you. This MUXXN dress with an asymmetrical neckline is pretty spot on. It's also less than $30.
Meghan walked into Westminster Abbey looking like a true style icon. Her white beret is making me want to become a hat person, unfortunately, the Stephen Jones piece isn't available for purchase online since it was made-to-order.
The dupe: If you can look past the creepy mannequin, you'll realize this Lawliet pillbox hat is verrrrrry similar and cute. Oh and of course, affordable too. They have in a bunch of different colors, if you want to get adventurous.
She paired the white beret with a pair of delicate Adina Reyter diamond earrings which aren't so delicately priced at $498.
The dupe: These MYS Collection zirconia earrings are just as cute. They are also only $11.99.
This is Meghan's "walking through a castle in Scotland" casual look. Her gorgeous high-waisted Veronica Beard bottoms are currently out of stock, but if they weren't, I'd be Venmoing strangers so I could afford the $395 pants.
The dupe: These Cemi Ceri pants don't have pearl buttons, BUT they are stylish in their own right *and* under $25.
This was Meghan's flawless neutral Christmas look. Her Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots are a dream that will probably never come true for me, since they're $798.
The dupe: These Wild Diva Lounge boots will likely be my reality. They're stylish AF and under $30.
But my favorite part of her outfit was hands down her Chloé round bag. OMG I'm just going to put this out in the universe, I hope someway, somehow, I have an extra $1,550 so I can get this purse.
The dupe: If you can't stop thinking about this gorgeous bag either, but know you can't take money from your kids college tuition for an accessory, I have a cute alternative. It's not exactly the same, but this Holla Handcrafted bag is round and super cute too. It's also just $59 and some change.
