I'm still wondering how a character like Sylvie, a successful woman who is also totally evil and overly cruel to the only other woman in her office, made it through a pitch session and onto our screens in 2020. I mean Emily herself is totally white-girl woke, the irony is too much to bear.

I love a good chance encounter as much as the next girl but the way Emily goes from sitting sadly on a park bench to meeting someone who magically becomes her best friend gave me whiplash.
