1. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

Johnson's father is Canadian wrestler Rocky Johnson. Along with a bonafide Canadian heritage, Johnson also briefly played football for the Calgary Stampeders in 1995.

3. The Simpsons creator Matt Groening

Groening's father, Homer (yes, really), was born in Main Centre, Saskatchewan. This makes Groening part Canadian — but does it make Homer Simpson part Canadian, too?

The True Blood star may have been raised in New Zealand, but she was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She returned to her Canadian roots to film Fly Away Home in Ontario in 1996.
