10 Images From Hurricane Isaac

Here are some images I took from around our neighborhood before, during, and after Hurricane Isaac. We were very fortunate in New Orleans. Some parishes near our’s were hit very, very hard.


Washington Ave. flooded pretty badly. This is in front of Lafayette Cemetery 1.


We learned that, for a small tree, it’s very difficult stay upright in 90 MPH wind.


This was taken around lunchtime that Tuesday… Just before the storm really started moving in.


There was a strong military presence in town. This is me with the 2nd 108 Cavalry. Really cool guys.


The infamous Balcony Bar is right around the corner. We were happy to see them eventually lose power. That meant fewer obnoxious Tulane students peeing in front of the house.


The day after Isaac moved on, a lot of people were out and about looking for supplies and assessing the situation.


I guess I don’t have to elaborate on this one.
