Why The UMN Section Of SWE Is So Fantastic

The ladies from the University of Minnesota section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) attended the WE16 Conference in Philadelphia in November and proved that they’re pretty awesome. You make us #CSEProud.

Their President, Elia, received this year’s Outstanding Collegiate Member award.

At Celebrate SWE, a select few prominent collegiate members were recognized for their efforts within their section and beyond.

They received the Outstanding Collegiate Section - Silver Award

Awards presented to Collegiate Sections with the most outstanding overall program for the year.

Schlumberger recognized them for their volunteerism

The UMN section was awarded $5,000 for participating in the Schlumberger Stilettos to Steel Toes competition for volunteering events.

They’re clearly going to do great things
