This "Stranger Things 2" Conspiracy Theory Will Send Pure Shivers Down Your Spine

Put on your tinfoil hats, this is a doozy! H/T Insider.

If you're not fully caught up on Stranger Things 2 yet, then you better make like a tree and...

However, be sure to come back and visit after you DO finish, because this shit is about to get crazy and you'll wanna know all about it.

Great. Now, if you HAVE finished Stranger Things 2, gather round the campfire with me kids, because I have a conspiracy theory that I'd like you to hear.

Cool, now let's jump waaaaay back to Season 1 when we saw Hopper crying in a stairwell after his daughter Sara died — check THIS out:

BuzzFeed / Netflix

As first noted by Insider, the handrail in these scenes appear to be identical.

And, in case you think it's all just coincidental, in a recent interview with Insider, actor David Harbour (who plays our love Hop), confirmed:

"Yes, it is the same location. So that's interesting. Or it's a similar location."

Now, I have questions. LOTS of questions.

Eagle-eyed fans will recall that while we did see Sara have a panic attack, become ill, and eventually die, we were never actually TOLD what she died from. Though a lot of fans assumed it was cancer (because of her hair loss). So, if it was not cancer...and Sara was in Hawkins Lab...then what DID she die from? Was it another Project MKUltra experiment? Or was she brought there by Hop and his wife as a kind of last ditch effort? What's the connection with her death Hawkins Lab?!?!

And, as if this tidbit wasn't enough, Harbour continued:

"There's actually another thing you'll notice which is that there's a stuffed animal lion that appears in Eleven's room when he breaks into the lab and finds that room, and it also appears in Castle Byers, and it also appears on Sara's lap."

I'm sure many of of you noticed this back in Season 1, but DAMN this adds some serious fuel to the conspiracy fire. (And, I KNOW, it's a tiger that Sara has, but, whatever...close enough!)

Although Harbour didn't give a full explanation to this mysterious connection, he did say that it clearly nods to a deeper mystery surrounding Hawkins Lab. He continued:

"There is a connection there perhaps that we may go into further down the line. These are little things that highlight mysteries that I don't want to give too much away from but I don't think anything is done randomly in this show. These things (are) something that will pay off in some way."
