1. You immediately think, WHOA, I'm going to have a new brother/sister.
2. And even though you probably know their significant other already, it still feels weird that they're going to be your new brother/sister.
3. You ask your sibling if your parent(s) know yet.
4. And if they don't, you tell your sibling to CALL. THEM. NOW.
5. You think about how crazy it is that your sibling is going to be a part of ANOTHER family soon.
6. And you kinda get a little nostalgic/sad that it's not just "you guys" anymore.
7. But then you get excited about how much bigger and more fun family gatherings are going to be!
8. You grill your sibling about how the whole proposal went down.
9. You demand they text you a photo of the ring STAT.
10. And, obviously, you show off that photo of the ring to all of YOUR friends as though it were your own.
11. You start to stress about the fact that you're probably going to be IN the wedding, too.
12. And you also start to worry about who ELSE might be in the wedding.
13. Then you wonder if you'll be a maid of honor/best man or just a "regular" wedding party member.
14. You realize you'll be spending a lot of money on all the STUFF leading up to the wedding like travel, parties, etc.
15. And then it hits you that you'll probably have to MAKE A SPEECH...
16. ...and you start thinking about fun stories from you and your sibling's childhood that you could tell.
17. And you start writing the perfect speech in your head waaaay before the actual wedding date is even set.
18. You eventually struggle with whether you should say something funny or sentimental or...BOTH.
