This Is Why Sansa's Hairstyle Should Actually Concern Every "Game Of Thrones" Fan

What a STARK difference.

Now that we are in full Game of Thrones swing, it's time we get down to the nitty gritty – i.e., analyzing every friggin' detail possible!

Because, quite frankly, it's the only way to stay sane until next Sunday.

This isn't much of a spoiler, but just in case, here we go:

Crystal Ro / BuzzFeed / HBO

So, as anyone who's watched Season 7's first episode knows, it looks like our lovely Sansa Stark is kinda going through ~some things~ this season.

Like, she clearly wants to be in control – and who can blame her after what she's been through – or at least have SOME power, but she's finding her big brother (who's actually her cousin) Jon isn't really letting her do that.

And while Sansa will (probably...hopefully?) always have Jon's back, eagle-eyed fans have picked up on a detail with Sansa, specifically her HAIR, that will probably unsettle you.

Here's what we're talking about:

Now, you could dismiss this as simple coincidence, but Sophie Turner recently explained to Refinery29 the significance of Sansa's hairstyles throughout Game of Thrones:

It’s never random. Sansa’s hair is constantly reflecting the people she’s learning from, or mimicking, or inspired by at the time. When she’s Cersei’s prisoner, and she’s kind of absorbing all her manipulative techniques, it’s reflected in her hairstyle, and when she’s finding the spirit of Margaery in herself, she wears her hair like Margaery.

An example of Sansa and Margaery back in rosier times:

So, is Sansa slowly turning to the dark side? Heck, even Jon (who we all know is usually slow on the uptake) has noticed a change in Sansa's behavior.

I don't like this. Not one bit.

  1. What do you think? Will Sansa turn into an evil, mini Cersei?

Yup. It's clear, all signs point to evil.

Nah. They had to create SOME conflict this season, right?
