Recently, Reddit user chirpchirping posted a question looking for dating advice in the subreddit r/relationships. She opened with the situation, explaining, "My (21F) boyfriend (22M) wants me to choose between him and my life passion (frogs)." Here's the entire backstory and dilemma in full as shared on Twitter:
And it didn't take long for people online to sound off with their advice — which was basically, like, "dump him!":

@redditships I just cannot understand the mindset of dating someone and wanting to commit to them when you can't stand something that's a MAJOR part of who they are.
@redditships drop the boyfriend, the frogs will give you more unconditional love than him. don't trust anyone who straight up doesn't like animals at all honestly, more so who calls things you're passionate about gross or ugly.
