    A Girl's Boyfriend Asked Her To Choose Between Him And Her Frogs, And People Sounded The Heck Off

    Frogs > Bros.

    Recently, Reddit user chirpchirping posted a question looking for dating advice in the subreddit r/relationships. She opened with the situation, explaining, "My (21F) boyfriend (22M) wants me to choose between him and my life passion (frogs)." Here's the entire backstory and dilemma in full as shared on Twitter:

    Just in case you're wondering, the aspiring biologist's frogs are being rescued from previous irresponsible owners.

    And it didn't take long for people online to sound off with their advice — which was basically, like, "dump him!":

    @redditships Honey, you’re 21 and it’s only been 6 months. Dump him and find someone who loves your frogs as much as you do.

    @redditships Ditch the BF!!! Demanding that your partner get rid of pets in order to continue dating is often a red flag and someone who actually cared about you would not be doing that.

    @redditships Is 14 frogs too many? Perhaps. Is 1 boyfriend who wants you to abandon your passion for him too many? Absolutely.

    @redditships REHOME HIM, GET MORE FROG

    @redditships I just cannot understand the mindset of dating someone and wanting to commit to them when you can't stand something that's a MAJOR part of who they are.

    @redditships drop the boyfriend, the frogs will give you more unconditional love than him. don't trust anyone who straight up doesn't like animals at all honestly, more so who calls things you're passionate about gross or ugly.

    It also inspired some to make memes, of course:

    @redditships @kingmob84 I hope she choses the guy. The guy:

    @redditships (Keep the frogs 💚)

    @redditships The frogs wouldn’t make you choose

    Since the question went viral, the advice-seeker has actually followed up with a thankful note:

    But what do you think? What advice would you give? Tell us in the comments below.

    In the meantime, best of luck to her (and the frogs)!
