“Deep ASCII,” Or Deep Throat Rendered in ASCII
Whoever thought the history of digital art could be so… exciting? Prior to the corporate takeover of the Internet, the web was a haven for new media artists looking to express themselves. A movement, known as “net.art,” was quickly gaining attention by other like-minded people who used the new medium. Vuk Cosic, Slovenian net.artist, re-created the famous porno, “Deep Throat,” by using ASCII. This is just a small clip of his work. Finding a working version of the whole video proved to be a bit harder.
