Seemingly, Brut, and their ad agency the Sigma Group, decided to target impotent husbands (and, over their shoulders, infertile wives) with their new commercial.
Of course, an old brand like Brut doesn't stand a chance with younger men. Old Spice managed to turn that trick, but Brut doesn't have the ad budget to try it themselves.
Still, I don't get the appeal of this spot to men. Selling virility is good. Showing literal virility is not so good. The pregnant woman will instantly scare the shit out of many men, and the preggers goldfish and doggie do little to lessen the blow.
Maybe Brut is now a front for a Pro-Life group?
