It’s easy to get discouraged with the inaction and utter dysfunction of our supposed “leaders” in Washington. But as they continue to bicker, some of us have still been hard at work. Here are just a few of the events that have taken place across the country since the government shutdown began last week.

7. 4. Congress seems to be running in circles…

8. We’ve been marching in a straight line toward reform.

9. 5. Congress gangs up on one another…

10. We’ve been united in our quest for justice.

11. 6. Congress makes a mockery of themselves…

12. We’ve been steadfast and serious in our approach.
