Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than compiling a list of our favorite TV moms. These women all strive to be the best parent they can be to their children - all while managing to stay true to themselves and their eccentric personalities.

1. Lorelai Gilmore, Gilmore Girls (Lauren Graham)

Lorelai is not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom! She’s independent, fun, and the ultimate best friend to her daughter, Rory. Whether Rory needs a cup of coffee, a handful of junk food, or an obscure pop culture reference, Lorelai is always there!
