5 Classic Movies That You Should Watch This Winter

When the weather prevents you from going outside in the winter, there is nothing better than sitting down and watching the classic movies that everyone loves. Here are 5 movies that are too iconic not to watch.

1. The Parent Trap

The first classic movie that you should consider watching this winter is The Parent Trap. Released in 1998 and starring Lindsay Lohan, The Parent Trap is about twin sisters that were separated when their parents got divorced, who end up finding each other when they attend the same summer camp 11 years later! This is a family friendly movie for all ages and one of my personal favorites ;)

2. Clueless

The next classic movie you should watch this winter is Clueless. Released in 1995 and starring Alicia Silverstone, Clueless is about a rich, popular, high school girl named Cher who takes in a hopeless new girl as her friend. The story follows Cher and her friends through high school, dating, and everything else in between.

3. The High School Musical Series

The High School Musical series contains three movies following the lives of Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez who are high schoolers that fall in love, but careers, college, friends, and school gets in their way. The High School Musical series are disney movies that were released in 2006, 2007, and 2008 and star Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. The movies are family friendly and contain many award winning songs.

4. John Tucker Must Die

Released in 2006 and starring Brittany Snow, Sophia Bush, and Jesse Metcalfe, John Tucker Must Die is about Kate, a newcomer to the school who helps 4 girls get revenge on the most popular guy in school after they realize he has been dating all of them at the same time. John Tucker Must Die is considered a teen classic because of it's humor and interesting plot.

5. Ferris Bueller's Day Off

The last classic movie that I think you should watch this winter is Ferris Bueller's Day off. Released in 1986 and starring Matthew Broderick, Ferris Bueller's Day off is about a high schooler named Ferris who fakes an illness to ditch school to have fun with his friends. Meanwhile he has the whole town concerned for him and his health and his parents have no idea he is faking it. The viewers get a chance to follow along with Ferris and his friends through their "day off"
