5 Former Disney Channel Stars That Deserve More Love Than They Get

In the history of Disney Channel, many stars have risen from being associated with it. Some in the name of good and the others in the name of bad. However, Disney Channel has created some stars who are majorly underrated today. Some of them have much more talent than people realize!

1. Lucas Grabeel

Grabeel is best known for his portrayal of Ryan Evans in the High School Musical films. He went on to do a few more movies and shows, one of the biggest gigs being Switched at Birth on Freeform. He's definitely successful but I think he deserves much more recognition. Whether that be for his vocals, his acting, or not letting fame get to his head like some. 2. Corbin Bleu

Another High School Musical alum also known for the DCOM Jump In! back in the day! Since then, he's guest-starred in a few things and continues to be successful! He also got married to fellow actress Sasha Clements. I think it's definitely fair to say that he's still underrated compared to his other High School Musical cast mates. 3. Monique Coleman

Another High School Musical alum who deserves more recognition. In a recent interview with Christy Carlson Romano (another Disney alum) she revealed that she dealt with a bit of depression due to "heartbreak" when Disney didn't invite her or Grabeel to the press tour for High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which really brought up a lot of sadness for her. 4. Brenda Song

Perhaps you know her from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody and its sequel, or the DCOM Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior. Maybe even more recently, you've heard her voice as the main character on Amphibia or about how she welcomed a baby boy with actor Macaulay Culkin. You may not initially recognize her, but she was the voice of our childhoods. Presenting: Kim Possible! That's not her only iconic role, though: you may know her as Ren from Even Stevens, too. She also made other appearances in DCOMs, like the Even Stevens Movie! In recent years, she's become a rising star on YouTube and collaborated with other Disney alums.
