Be careful what you say to your missus to keep her happy – you might end up getting more than you bargained for.
When Rhys Green from Kidderminster, UK told his girlfriend he'd pop the question if she got 200 likes on Facebook, he didn't expect what came next… !
After telling girlfriend Hannah he'd propose if she got 200 likes on a Facebook post, Rhys was pretty confident she'd struggle. Especially when her post only had 30 likes after 24 hours.
That was until Hannah enlisted the help of online casino, mFortune.
She messaged mFortune Casino, asking if they could help her hit her target and get the proposal she was longing for.
Wanting to help their players be lucky in love, mFortune took matters into their own hands. They asked their 40,000 Facebook fans to help Hannah's plight – on the condition that Rhys popped the question via LIVESTREAM on their Facebook page.
Rhys agreed, and you won't believe what happened next… !
Pretty quickly, Hannah's post picked up 200 likes but Rhys had something up his sleeve – the post now needed to get 500 likes. Game over right? Wrong!
Pretty soon the post had over 500 likes and Rhys found himself dressed-to-impress and ready to pop the question in the romantic location of Kidderminster town centre. As promised, he live-streamed the whole thing on the mFortune Facebook page.
Hundreds watched the proposal live and nearly 10,000 have watched the video since. People from all over the UK tuned in to watch the broadcast with people from Blackpool, Cornwall, Edinburgh and Coventry cheered on the happy couple.
One person from AUSTRALIA shared the post to help boost the likes.
To celebrate their engagement, Rhys took Hannah to their local Costa before popping to ASDA. And they say romance is dead…
Congrats guys! Here's hoping they live-stream the wedding on Facebook too!
