15 Makeup Storage Products If The Organization Level Of Your Vanity Is "Dumpster Fire"

The 10,000 lipsticks living at the bottom of your purse asked me to write this.

    1. An acrylic makeup organizer with four drawers, plus lipstick, brush, and bottle compartments to neatly house all of your cosmetics, instead of arranging them in that mess you call an "abstract decor choice" on top of your vanity.

BuzzFeed contributor AnaMaria Glavan uses and loves this organizer. She raves:

This nifty little organizer looks beautiful, can fit ALL of my everyday makeup, and (drumroll please) it keeps clutter at bay in my bathroom — which is extremely tiny, BTW.

I can fit so 👏 damn 👏 much 👏 inside of this four-drawer thing. Here are all the products that I currently have in there: 32 lipsticks, six blushes and bronzers, two large highlighter sticks, one foundation bottle, three concealers, two contouring sticks, two rollerball perfumes, two primers, and the bottom drawer contains so many lip pencils, eyeliners, and eyeshadow sticks that I actually didn't even bother counting (but I'm going to guess AT LEAST 30 of them, I swear).* If you have A TON OF MAKEUP (which I do), then you may still have to store some extra stuff in your bags — but either way, this container holds SO much.

But the real winner winner chicken dinner here? I have easy access to all the makeup I use every single day and can see all of it at once. I don't have to dig around the bottomless pit that is one of my many, many makeup bags anymore — I just have to open and close a drawer."

Get it from Amazon for $14.99+ (available in three colors and 10 styles).

    2. A set of drawer organizers containing multiple compartments to keep your products out of site and out of mind (and prevent your lip glosses from loudly rolling around with each jostle or opening and closing of a drawer).

Promising review: "Perfect for a standard-size bathroom drawer! All five containers fit and I’m able to separate out my hair products/brush/comb, hair ties, razor blades, and the misc. items such as headbands for face washing. The frosted look is great and just what I desired. Almost wish I had more drawers to organize with these!" —Jen

Get it from Amazon for $15.99+ (available as a set of five or 10).

    3. A rotating makeup organizer that'll save major surface real estate and give you 360-degree access to all of your tried-and-true goodies.

Promising review: "Love, love, love it! It was perfect for what I needed. I have a small space in my bathroom to house my beauty needs so I needed something that was compact, but would keep my stuff organized and at my fingertips. This was the perfect fit for me. I liked the transparency of the organizer so there aren't any hidden items and WOW the space you have for all you items is abundant. I'm not a makeup enthusiast so I don't have a ton of beauty products, but I do have a decent amount and a variety. I literally filled this with all my needs and I still have room to put more. It was super easy to assemble and the spin feature was smooth and moved easily. It isn't a cheap piece of plastic, but you wouldn't want to drop it or mishandle it as I'm not certain it could take that kind of an impact. Now time to go shopping and fill it up some more." —Connie Escamilla

Get it from Amazon for $34.99 (be sure to clip the coupon before checkout to save an additional 10%).

    4. A marble brush cup so your menagerie of makeup brushes can finally have a place (or in my case – places) to call home.

That's my vanity/desk/bedroom-sitting area up there! I bought these cups a couple of years ago when my makeup collection was bursting at the seams (hi, I'm an avid beauty consumer👋) and was in need of some serious reorganization. I picked the marbled cups in pink and green for three basic purposes: (1) I was able to designate spaces for my face brushes (pink) and eye brushes (green), (2) I was looking for some fun pops of color in my bedroom, and (3) they added plenty of fuel to the "Cosmo and Wanda ain't slick" fire. And while I use them for makeup brushes, I'm sure they'd work well as pencil cups in your workspace or utensil holders in your kitchen!

    5. Or an acrylic brush box with a lid to keep your brushes clean, plus tons of little pearls at the bottom that'll help to keep them in place (and make 'em look so classy).

Promising review: "First of all, I love the beading! It's makes my brushes look a little extra and aesthetic, not to mention it also keeps them in place! I can guarantee you that it keeps my brushes clean! Not to mention, whenever I have guest, I always get compliments on it! My mom, my sister, and a few of my close friends have already bought this because they loved it just as much as I did!" –Karolyn Nikole Zavala Suarez

Get it from Amazon for $28.99+ (available in two colors).

    6. A super chic three-drawer organizer that looks more like decor than anything else. You'll be able to swiftly tuck your cosmetics away when your done doing your beat, then sit back and marvel about how pretty your vanity looks.

    7. A handy tiered lipstick organizer able to hold up to *40* lippies because, if you're anything like me, you have an obscene amount of lip products (in the same shade, no doubt) and need to take them out from the bottom of your purse for once.

Promising review: "I love this item. I keep my lipsticks in front, and mascaras and other items in the back. The incline of the rack is the coolest feature. I can leave the rack on a shelf and find everything easily. I plan to order another one dedicated to brushes. The price is more than worth it. I saw similar, but smaller products at a popular outlet/discount store...it was smaller and more money. Even if you don't have 40 lipsticks, it holds so much more. I think anyone would love this item as much as I do." –AcousticChick

Get it from Amazon for $8.99+ (available in three sizes).

    8. A colorful vanity organizer complete with tons of drawers, compartments, and surfaces to store your bottles, brushes, and all other items in your impressive (and ever-growing) makeup collection.

This organizer has changed that game completely and I love it! It holds WAY more than it looks like it would and I can easily pick up exactly what I need. Love it!" –Sharon Torbert

Get it from Amazon for $28.99+ (available in three colors).

    9. A versatile four-compartment organizer that can be whatever you want it to be. Vanity shelving unit? Sure. Drawer organizer? Heck yeah. Desktop catch-all bucket? Yup, that too.

Promising review: "Pricy side but worth it ! It doesn’t feel cheap at all and has some weight to it. The glass needs cleaning every once in a while but looks brand new after. I’ve have it for quite some time now and I absolutely love it. It’s a cute touch in my room that also organizes my makeup." –Salazar

This set includes the organizer, plus compartmented brush and lipstick cups.

Promising review: "It’s capacity is larger than I expected. It comes with a brush and lipstick organizer. I put all my to-go products in there, yet still have some space left! The cover is really useful – now I don’t have to wipe my products piece by piece so often. The only complaint is that it’s little bit pricey, but overall it’s great organizer to make your desk look neat and clean. It’s worth a try if you're into organizing." –
