Last night, lucky riders of Pirates of the Caribbean in Disneyland got a special surprise when Johnny Depp, dressed up in full costume and makeup, greeted visitors as Captain Jack Sparrow.
In perfect character, Depp waved his sword, slurred his words, and rambled on, fully playing up the experience for the riders recording it all on their phones.

And naturally, fans at Disneyland lost their damn minds.

I don't know about you, but I think I might pass out if Captain Jack Sparrow actually talked directly to me.

For those not lucky enough to see this IRL, you'll get to see Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow again next month when the fifth installment, Dead Men Tell No Tales, of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise comes out.
For now, we'll just have to stock up on some rum and be jealous of all the Disneyland visitors that got the ride of a lifetime.
