Masseur Charged With Sexual Assault Against Woman At A Coral Gables Spa

Police arrested a therapist masseuse after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a Coral Gables spa.

David Egusquiza, 34, was arrested on Sunday on charges of assault. He was taken to jail and later released on bail of $ 7,500. At the moment there is no information on whether or not he has an attorney to represent you.

NBC6 reported that the victim was receiving a massage by Egusquiza at the Massage Envy, located on Miracle Mile. Previously she had been seen twice by him, whom she knew personally, according to the report.

During the massage session, Egusquiza sexually assaulted the woman against her will, although it is not clear what the aggression consisted of. Immediately she told him to stop and he apologized, and later told her to keep it as a secret, the report says.

The victim told her mother what had happened, and then they both went to the police, according to the report. Egusquiza went to the police station voluntarily, but refused to make any statement to the detectives who interrogated him.
