#2, it’s never too late to leave an abusive relationship. ESPECIALLY if there are kids involved. They need to know this isn’t normal and that they deserve to be respected and if you don’t, you don’t get to be part of their lives.

#2 is only acceptable if you’re a couple or if one person has a significantly larger bedroom and/or private bathroom. I was in that situation and I had the higher income so I took the larger room and I paid more. Of everything is equal, you pay equal amounts.
