4. They may not always get along.
5. But they are always incredibly protective of one another.
6. You can no longer enjoy a meal in peace.
7. Your house has a certain... smell.
Gave my dog a bath, he wouldn’t let me dry him afterwards so now my whole house smells like wet dog...
8. Sleeping can be quite the struggle.
9. And leaving them everyday is a constant battle.
10. You have different voices for each dog.

How else will they be able to know who you're talking to?
11. And about a million names for them, too.
I’m that annoying dog mom that has 100 different names for her dog that legit make no sense whatsoever. 🐶🐾❤️
12. You're always buying new toys for them.
I speak from personal experience when I say Target's toy section is equal parts cute and dangerous.
13. Giving each dog an equal amount of attention will be tough.
14. Their sleep schedules will mostly depend on you.
15. And figuring out their bathroom schedules is no walk in the park, either.

Don't worry, you'll get their routines down in a year or two.

17. Barking will become part of your everyday life.
Like, A LOT of barking.
18. At least one of your dogs will end up doing something incredibly dumb.
But it will only make you love them that much more.
19. But at the end of the day, no one tells you how satisfying it is to walk into your house and be greeted by your dogs, who act like they haven't seen you in 87 years.
