Would it really kill them to pay the interns? It doesn’t even have to be minimum wage. Some argue that people chose unpaid internships but if that’s the only foot in the door you can get for your profession, of course you’ll take it. I don’t think it’s entitlement but if you’re demanding them to work more hours than a full time job would, that’s exploitation.

It’s strange-traditionally, only the poor had mostly vegetarian diets. Nowadays in first world countries, it is only the rich that can afford fresh veggies. ButIhope vegans/vegetarians spareathought for the fruits and veggies they consume and make sure it is harvested by people who get paidadecent wage and it’s locally sourced. It seems sad that some people place more emphasis on the rights of animals than they do humans.
